Sun-bleached hide. Perfectly formed tusks. The warmth and silence of Kruger in a single frame. Where Nkuma carries darkness and earth, N'wati carries light.

On acrylic, the stillness deepens. Face-mounted on crystal-clear acrylic, the image sits within the surface, not behind glass, bringing every detail of N'wati's form and the warmth of the African light forward with extraordinary clarity.

Your presentation, all at no extra charge:

Frameless, clean, polished edges
Slimline aluminium frame, Black, White, Silver, or Gold

Nwati — The Riverbed Ritual | The Story

Close your eyes. Now open them. You are standing beside the dry Shingwedzi River.

The river appears empty. But beneath the sand, water waits.

For hours I watched as two legendary tusker brothers slowly uncovered this hidden lifeline, digging patiently with their feet before drinking deeply and covering themselves in cool earth. It is a ritual older than memory.

Knowing where they would emerge, I moved quietly ahead and waited.

First came Mintlangu. Then, moments later, Nwati. As though guided by an understanding only brothers share, he climbed the riverbank and stopped exactly where the first had paused. He turned. Looked directly at me. And time stood still.

His skin glowed pale beneath layers of fresh dust. His magnificent tusks swept gracefully towards the earth. Every detail spoke of survival, wisdom, and an Africa that still exists beyond words.

A giant. A survivor. Part of a story written long before we arrived.

Collector Stories

Reflections from collectors who have welcomed Peter Delaney's artwork into their homes around the world.

"

After some delay, I finally had 'Bonds of Love' framed and placed on my bedroom wall, a gift from my husband for our 50th wedding anniversary. He passed away not long after, and two years on, this photograph continues to comfort me. It is the first thing I see every morning, and it gladdens my heart.

— Sally, Johannesburg

"

This is not a photograph hanging on a wall. It is a window into something vast and unhurried.

— Spencer Wynn

"

Queen of the Mara has occupied a central place in our living room since 2020. It helped us feel connected to the world at a time when we... weren't.

— Paul, Collector

Each print carries its own story, creating a lasting connection between the collector and Africa's wild places.
