Into the Wild

More than twenty years ago, a truck journey from Cape Town toward the Sudan border changed the course of my life. I came home, resigned from a career in finance, and committed myself to photographing Africa's wild places. Some journeys really do change everything.

Private photographic safaris through Africa's finest wilderness

Small groups, extraordinary wildlife, and unforgettable experiences through some of Africa's most remarkable landscapes.

Designed for photographers, collectors, and wildlife lovers who value depth over speed, every safari combines exceptional wildlife encounters, photographic mentorship, and the freedom to experience Africa at its own pace.

Why Travel With Us

Most photographic safaris focus on covering as much ground as possible. We believe the most rewarding journeys come from slowing down, understanding the wildlife, and waiting for the moments that matter.

Many photographic safaris are led by experienced guides who also enjoy photography. Michal and I approach things from the opposite direction. We are photographers first, with careers built on published, award-winning work, and we bring that experience directly into the field with you. Beyond understanding wildlife, we help you recognise the light, behaviour and moments that transform a sighting into a photograph worth keeping.

Whether you're a serious photographer or simply love wild places, the aim is the same: to see Africa properly, and to come home with something worth keeping.

Your Photographic Guides

Peter Delaney

Peter has spent years photographing Africa's wildlife exclusively in black and white on medium format. His work has won three Wildlife Photographer of the Year titles, been recognised by the Sony World Photography Awards, named a finalist in the Wildlife category of the 2026 Hasselblad Masters, and published in National Geographic and GEO.

Michal Krause

Michal is an internationally recognised wildlife photographer from the Czech Republic, whose work has taken him from the Arctic and Australia to Costa Rica and Africa. He's been recognised in the Czech Press Photo and Nature Photographer of the Year awards, and for years has led his own photographic expeditions, combining a deep understanding of wildlife with a calm, patient approach to teaching in the field.

Different backgrounds, different eyes on the same wild places.

Together, we combine complementary styles, decades of field experience, and a shared belief that patience is often the key to exceptional wildlife photography. With two photographers leading larger departures, every guest receives personal guidance throughout the journey.

Every itinerary is somewhere I'd happily return to myself.

Where We Go

Botswana

A private houseboat on the Chobe River, photographing elephant herds, birdlife, and river light.

Zambia

Remote safaris in search of leopards, wild dogs, and the kind of light you only get away from vehicles.

Zimbabwe

Mana Pools. Exceptional elephant encounters among some of Africa's oldest forests.

Namibia

Desert elephants, quiver trees, the dead pans of Deadvlei.

South Africa

Private game reserves in the Greater Kruger — big five, exclusive traversing, and exceptional big cat sightings.

Kenya — coming soon

Mara North Conservancy, the Great Migration, big cats. We're currently selecting a private conservancy and camp that meets the standard we want for our guests.

Our first departures are currently being planned. If one of these destinations interests you, we'd be delighted to discuss the options, recommend the most suitable itinerary, and begin planning your journey.

What Makes Our Safaris Different

Small Groups

Maximum six guests, allowing more time at sightings and personal attention.

Photographic Mentorship

Guidance in the field, from behaviour and composition to light and editing.

Expert Guidance

Michal and I focus on helping you experience and photograph Africa at its best.

Tailored Journeys

Every itinerary is built around your interests, timing, and photographic goals.

Small Groups

Wildlife doesn't work to a schedule. Small groups mean we can wait longer at a sighting, move when the animals move, and give every guest real photographic guidance rather than sharing attention across a full vehicle.

Every departure is limited to a maximum of six guests. Once a group passes three, Michal and I both travel with you.

Three Ways to Experience Africa

Explorer

Comfortable camps and lodges, centred around exceptional wildlife encounters.

Signature

Premium lodges, smaller groups, and deeper photographic opportunities.

Bespoke

Africa's finest camps and exclusive-use properties, completely tailored around you.

How Bookings Work

Every safari is organised through our licensed travel partner, who manages reservations, accommodation, transfers and travel logistics. This allows Michal and me to focus entirely on creating an exceptional wildlife and photographic experience.
