UNFRAMED FINE ART PRINTS

Caring for Unframed Prints

Handling with Care

Unframed prints should always be handled with care. Avoid touching the printed surface and only hold by the edges, ideally with clean, dry hands or cotton gloves.

Professional Framing

We recommend taking your print directly to a professional framer while still in its protective sleeve or tube packaging. This ensures it is handled correctly from the moment it is unrolled.

Storage & Longevity

Do not leave prints stored in tubes long term. Extended storage can cause curling, creasing, or surface stress over time. If temporary storage is necessary, keep the print flat in a clean, dry environment.

Framing & Display

Professional Framing

Professional framing is strongly recommended for all fine art prints. Use archival, acid-free materials to ensure longevity and protect the artwork from environmental damage. UV-protective glazing is advised where possible.

Display Environment

Avoid placing artwork in direct sunlight or in areas of high humidity. Choose a stable environment to preserve the archival quality of your print for generations.

Caring for Framed Prints

Dust gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays directly on the surface. Avoid moisture and harsh cleaning chemicals. Keep away from direct heat sources and prolonged sunlight. Check fittings periodically to ensure secure hanging.
