In the Mara, survival is never still. Ruka and Rafiki, sons of the legendary Rosetta, rise from a termite mound and scan the horizon — alert, balanced, already part of the landscape they will one day inherit.

At 255 × 170 cm (100 × 67 inches), this work stops behaving like a photograph. It becomes a field of presence. A full-scale encounter with the wild inside a human space.

Face-mounted to crystal-gloss acrylic, the surface dissolves into depth — fur, dust, distance, and silence rendered with forensic clarity. What remains is not an image on a wall, but a moment occupying the room.
