Elephant Oasis. Northern Kruger. A hidden waterhole beneath ancient trees. Still, cool, untouched.

A small group of bull elephants arrives in silence. The lead bull steps forward, mud-dark, tusks short and worn, skin etched with river clay. Behind him, other bulls settle into the water and shade — drinking, bathing, resting. One sinks deep into the pool. Another sprays wet clay across his flank. Another stands half-asleep beneath the canopy.

At 240 × 160 cm (94.5 × 63 in), this is not a print. It is a presence.

Face-mounted on 4mm crystal-clear acrylic, the image sits within the surface — not behind glass — bringing every texture of skin, water, and earth forward at monumental scale.
