Elephant Herd
I have searched for this herd of elephants for the better part of a week. I was relieved to see them in the distance at a waterhole.
But my joy was short-lived as the matriarch signalled for the herd to follow her. I was afraid that I had missed my photographic opportunity at the waterhole.
I decided to pre-empt the elephants by waiting at the bottom of a ridge.
Fortune was in my favour. For a brief moment, the elephants spread along the ridge,
I clicked the shutter of my camera, I knew at once, that I had captured a very special photograph.
