A young mother resting her head against her matriarch. Skin against skin. The kind of stillness that asks you to stay.

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 310gsm cotton — every crease and fold of elephant skin, and the quiet interplay of light and shadow, hold their full tactile richness in this paper.

"Each print is carefully reviewed before it leaves the studio to ensure it meets the standard the work demands." — Peter

Into the Wild — Tender Moments | The Story

Close your eyes. Now open them. You are here.

She had already become a mother.

Yet beside the matriarch, she was still a daughter.

As the herd paused, the young female gently rested her head against her mother's flank. There was no drama, no movement, only quiet reassurance between two generations.

For a few moments, the noise of the world disappeared.

I moved in close, allowing the details to tell the story. The deep folds of weathered skin. The soft curve of her trunk. Long eyelashes catching the light. Texture replacing landscape, turning the portrait into something almost abstract.

I called it Tender Moments.

Because this photograph isn't about elephants alone.

It's about the comfort we all seek. The silent strength of family. The reassurance of knowing someone is still there, no matter how much life has changed.

Some moments don't need words.

Only presence.

Collector Stories

Reflections from collectors who have welcomed Peter Delaney's artwork into their homes around the world.

"

After some delay, I finally had 'Bonds of Love' framed and placed on my bedroom wall, a gift from my husband for our 50th wedding anniversary. He passed away not long after, and two years on, this photograph continues to comfort me. It is the first thing I see every morning, and it gladdens my heart.

— Sally, Johannesburg

"

This is not a photograph hanging on a wall. It is a window into something vast and unhurried.

Queen of the Mara has occupied a central place in our living room since 2020. It helped us feel connected to the world at a time when we... weren't.

— Paul, Collector

Each print carries its own story, creating a lasting connection between the collector and Africa's wild places.
