Witnessing a "Storm over the Karoo" is the most amazing sight to behold. The Karoo has always held a special place in my heart. Its big open skies fill me with joy and a sense of peace that is hard to describe. 

Capturing this unique fine art print of a " Storm over the Karoo" has been a dream of mine for many years. A serendipitous trip to Mountain Zebra National park meant I was in the right place at the right time.

We spent a few days in this dry parch land that was crying out for rains. And on our last day, the heavens were filled with tumultuous dark clouds, with the sound of thunder, and bolts of lightning that were biblical.
